PRODUCE SALES
Messrs F. S. Malcolm and Co. report on their produce sales held on Friday and Saturday as follows: —Prime southern potatoes 12s per sack, onions 5s 6d per centil bag, eggs Is 6d per doz., daily butter Is 2d'lb, turkeys 5s 6d, roosters 2s, hens 2s maize 2s 9d per bushel, bacon (sides) 6)d per lb, loaf cheese 6d lb, apples 7s to 8s 6d per bushel case, and small vegetables as per usual.
The following prices were obtained by Messrs Miller and Craig at their weekly produce sale held on Saturday: Hens Is 3d to 2s Id, roosters Is 7d to 2s 2d, ducks Is 9d to 2s 6d, chickens Is Id, maize 10s 6d' sack, potatoes 2s 6d small bag, eggs Is 6d and Is 7d, apples 7s 6d to 8s 6d case, citron melons 2s bag, butter Is.
CUSTOMS REVENUE
The .Customs revenue for the week ended on Saturday, July 1, was as follows: Customs duties £786 8s 2d. beer duty £37 Is, light dues £3.0 Os 6d, shipping fees Is 6d, .other receipts (sale oysters - ' £l2 7s; total, £865 18s 2d.
