“WIRELESS” TO THE RESCUE
[UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION —COPYRIGHT.] (Received July .2, 5.5 p.m.) OTTAWA, July 1. The steamer Spokane, which carried one hundred and fifty excursionists, was run ashore in a sinking condition.
Two women, who became panic stricken, leaped overboard, and were drowned.
