IN the matter of “The Local Bodies Loans Act. 1908,” and in the matter of the proposal of the Waiapu County Council (acting as a Harbor Board in. respect of Tokomaru Harbor), to borrow a sum of Twenty Thousand Pounds (£20,000) for the purpose of purchasing from the Tokomaru Sheepfarmers’ Freezing Company, Limited and from the Tokomaru Farmers’ Cooperative Company, Limited, the harbor works respectively constructed by the said respective companies, for the purchase of land and erection of buildings, and also for the purpose of constructing such further Harbour Works as may be necessary for the requirements of making a harbour at Tokomaru Bay for the use of the inhabitants of the County of Waiapu. The sum proposed to be borrowed for the above purposes is £20,000, the proposed security for and provision for repayment of the loan being a rate of one farthing in the £1 upon the annual rateable value of all rateable property within the Tokomaru Riding, the Waipiro Riding, and the Paritarau Riding of the County of Waiapu. Also a sinking fund of -J per cent (ten shillings) per centum per annum out of such rate lieing set aside towards repayment of the loan.
