Mr. McKinnon Wood, in reply to Mr James Hope, said the Government was most anxious from every standpoint for the settlement of the Albanian troubles on liberal and generous terms. The prolongation of the trouble would couse grave anxiety to the Powers who were desiring to see the strength and credit of the Porte established and peace secured in the Balkans. .
