SLIPPERY STREETS CAUSE ACCIDENTS. [PER PRESS ASSOCIATION/! TIMARU, July 18. A combination of fog and fourteen degrees of frost during the night coated the streets and paths with ice, and proved dangerous this morning. Many people slipped and fell, and one lady broke her leg, while another sprained her ankle. Horses came down everywhere. and at one corner half a dozen were down at once. The early tradesmen’s carts had great difficulty going rounds.
