For thei third time in 18 months a member of Mr Gaynor’s (Mayor of New York) family has eloped and been married without the sanction of the .parents. Miss Gertrude Gaynor, 'the Mayor’s eldest daughter, left her father’s house recently, and, meeting Mr William Steward Webb, junr.at Wilmington, Delaware, married him there. Mr Webb is a grandson of Mr William H. Vanderbilt, and is employed at the office of Mr Pierpont Morgan in Broad street. The young couple had been engaged for a few months, but licithei the Webb' nor Gaynor family wished them to marry for another year, as the young man is only 24 and his bride 23. There was not the slightest objection on either side to the marriage.—"Chronicle” correspondent.
