HEAVY RAIN PREDICTED. [FEB PBESS ASSOCIATION.j . WELLINGTON, July 20. The Meteorological office to-night issued the following weather summary and forecast:— The barometer has fallen everywhere, and especially in the northern districts, where easterly winds, strong to gale, have prevailed, and cloudy and showery weather. Pair to cloudy weather has prevailed elsewhere, arid moderate and variable winds.' Present indications are for rain and boisterous- weather generally. Heavy rain is expected on the East Coast of the North Island, and rivers rising shortly. Easterly and northerly winds, strong to gale, are probable generally, and a falling' barometer is expected everywhere.
