U.S'A. WOOL TARIFF.

PROPOSED REVISION MEASURE. [UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION —COPYRIGHT.] WASHINGTON. July 19. Senator Root is about to introduce a new wool tariff revision measure, with the support of the Administration. Tlie Bill is intended to substitute the Democratic Wool Bill. It fixes the same rate for first-class wool as the Lafollette measure, so long as it maintains the price of 22-1 cents per lb. at the rate of nine cents per lb. for first-class wool in grease. There will be the same rate for class wool, while the washed wool rate will be doubled and the scoured wool rate trebled.
