Messrs Richardson and Co.’s Fanny arrived yesterday morning from Napier and on discharging a portion of her cargo proceeded at one o’clock this morning to Tokomaru Bay, whence she returns to Napier. The Union Co.’s Monowai arrived in the roadstead from Napier early yesterday morning and proceeded to Auckland after being tendered at the usual hours. Messrs Huddart, Parker and Co.’s Wimmera, from Sydney, via Auckland and Tokomar Bay, arrived in the bay yesterday afternoon and sailed for Napier and Wellington late in the evening. On her trip from Auckland the Union Co.’s Squall was unable to work Tologa Bay on account of the heavyweather prevailing. She -arrived in port yesterday and left again for Tologa Bay and Auckland late in the afternoon. The Union Co.’s Waipori, consequent on an unavoidable delay in Auckland, is not expected to reach Gisborne until tomorrow. Messrs Richardson and Co.’s Ripple is expected to arrive from Southern ports as usual to-morrow morning and returns south on discharging her general cargo. The scow Moa, with a cargo of bridge girders for the Public Works Department, arrived from Auckland yesterday afternoon, having experienced fairly moderate weather. The Union Co.’s cargo steamer Waitemata is due to clear Invercargill to-day for Oamaru, Timaru, Napier. Gisborne, and Auckland.
