It was a beautiful spring-like morning for training operations, and the outside of the course proper, on which all fast work took place, provided very fair going. Bonny Glen and Coromform were the first out and they were despatched for agallop over seven furlongs, which occupied lmim 35 l-sseo., the latter having the best of matters at the finish. Prim dashed over six furlongs in Imm 20 4-ssec., while Martine ran a furlong further in lmin 34sec. Countermine ran six furlongs in lmin 23 2-seec., Revenge running a- similar distance in lmin 30sec. St. Aidian, assisted by Wedge over the last mile, ran the last mile and a quarter of once round in 2min 24 4-5 sec. Honest Tom and Silver Blaze fenced safely whilst negotiating once round of the big fence-. Espartero’s task was once round at three-quarter pace. There was little to choose between Busyland and All Guns at the end of a five furlong spin, which was run in lmin Bsee. Dorando ran a mile and a half in 3mm 1 3-ssec. Edna May ran six furlongs up the back in lmin 23 l-ssec. Somersault and F-litaway finished together at the end of a strongly ran seven furlongs, the 'time registered being lmin 38sec. Tangaroa dashed over half a mile in 54 l-ssec., and Kingsway proved too good for Mauri over a similar journey, which he ran in- 54sec. King of Trumps and Shillelagh finished together at the end of a mile and a half, which occupied 3min. 7 3-ssec. Appin jumped a couple of flights of schooling hurdles in good style. Canterbury, Mercedb, and Wairaki, were companions in a working gallop over a mile and a quarter. Togo and Ito finished together at the end of a schooling task over five flights of hurdles. S'ea King ran six furlongs "n lmin 20isec., and Flambeau occupied lmin 25 l~ssec for a similar distance. Antarctic, commencing at the hrush, went twice round over the big fences. Tlie son of Salvadan set a good l pace throughout, and his performance was entirely satisfactory. Deerslayer got t-o the end of a six furlong’s gallop in lmin 30 4-ssec. Scotch Plaid dashed over half a mile in 54sec., Alexis taking lmin lOsoc while running a furlong further. Biffin, with an advantage in weights, proved much too good for Santa Claus at the end of six furlongs, which occupied lmin 25sec. Fasnakyle ran five furlongs up the back in lmin 10 l-osee. Kohinoor and Night Light ran six furlongs comfortably in lmin 29see. ■Compass, looking well, strode over a mile in lmin 58sec. Sapience and Gold Pin jumped four flights of the schooling hurdles safely, the latter pleasing the most. Yasma-k. at a steady pace, jumped safely over a couple of rounds of the big fences. Northern Star’s task was a working gallop over a mile and a quarter. Gold Dredge ran half a mile in 57sec. Eurus, Corazon, Ariom, Dogger Bank, Master Paul, Gunner, Eiya, Whakaweira, Centaur, Expansion, The Native, Embrasure, Merry Lass, and "White Cockade were restricted to steady and half pacing. PROVOCATION SCRATCHED. CFEtt PRESS ASSOCIATION.} Provocation was scratched this evening for all engagements at the Grand National meeting.
