ALLEGATION OIF “POT-HUNTING.”
[UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT.] . ADELAIDE, July 27. The Mayor declined: to give a civic reception to the Sheffield Choir, in accordance with the rule not to receive money-makers. Members of the- Government co-operated with the public in tendering a citizens’ welcome. Dr. Harriss vigorously denied 1 the imputation that the choir were a lot of pothunters, declaring that the movement had cost him £IO,OOO. The concert was crowded.
