BOWRON BROS.’ FAILURE.
NEW ZEALAND FIRM’S GENEROSITY. [UNITED PBESS ASSOCIATION—COPYBIGHT.3 LONDON, July , 27. John Bowron, examined at the Bankruptcy Court, said that his failure was due to £IOO,OOO owing on raw materials in the autumn of 1907. The balancesheet for 1900 showed a deficit of i,OOO. By 1909 there was a deficiency of £125,800. Bowron Bros., New Zealand', forgave debits to the extent of £78,000 between 1905 and 1907.
