POTATO-PEELING GOVERNMENT. [UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. (Received August 9, 9.50 p.m.) * PERTH, August 9. The Government experiment of importing potatoes and peeling them in bond, witb a view to prevent the spread of blight, has resulted in the reduction of tile retail price from fourpenee three farthings to twopence-halfpenny per pound. Peeling departments have been established in the country towns.
