RESULTS OF IMPERIAL CONFERENCE. “A MARKED FEATURE.” (.UNITED FBESS ASSOCIATION —COPYRIGHT. FREMANTLE, August 9. Mr Fisher, referring to the Imperial Conference, declared that a distinct step in advance had been made. “I plaoe no limit to its growth and usefulness,” lie said. “A marked feature was the action of the Imperial Government taking the representatives of the dominions into the inner family circle. That will go far to prevent difficulties arising, besides helping to settle themi when they do arise.” Regarding the - naval agreement he said he was. glad to that in future the dominions would be % consulted wherever .possible. As to the growth of the labor movement in England he said he was assured that nothing could stop its progress.
