Experiments are being carried out vn Stachholm to determine the influence of electricity eh school children. At one of the schools fifty pupils have been divided into two groups. They are identical in point of health, height, and rooms of'the same size, and having the weight, and' are placed' in two classsame amount of light. Exactly the same' teaching is given in each classroom. but one of the class-rooms is subjected to discharges of electricity, and the other is not. Thought the, experiment is not yet concluded, it has been found possible already to report that the “electrified” children have responded by showing greater mental _ and physical development than the children not so treated.
