Richardson and Co/s Ripple arrived from Wellington and southern ports on Saturday morning, bringing seveu passengers and about 170 tons of general cargo. On discharging she proceeded to Picton and Wellington about noon. The Union Co/s Haupiri is due to clear Auckland to-day for Limestone Island, East Coast bays, Gisborne, and southern ports. The auxiliary scow Magic is at present en route from Wellington to Gisborne with a full cargo of sewerage pipes for the Gisborne Borough Council. The topsail schooner Falcon, with 53,800 feet of timber from Pelorous Sound, arrived in Gisborne at noon on Saturday. The schooner left Pelorus Sound on Wednesday at 1 p.m., and had it not been for being becalmed for four hours off Cape Palliser and for twenty-four hours off Portland Island, would have made a very fast passage to Gisborne. The Falcon's timber is consigned to Messrs. Clayton Bros, and A. F. T qwrie and Co., in about equal proportions. Messrs. Richardson and Co/s cargo steamer Kotunui, which left Auckland at 4.15 on Thursday afternoon for Coast ports and Auckland, arrived here at 11 o'clock on Saturday night with a general cargo. The steamer had a fine passage down the coast. She called at Cape Runaway on Friday, and reached Tokomara at 7 a.m. on Saturday, leaving that port at 3 p.m. the same day for Gisborne. After discharging her general cargo for this port, the steamer leaves for Tologa Bay, Tokomaru, and Auckland. The Kotunui is timed to sail at 5 o'clock this afternoon. The Union S.S. Co.'s Hauroto arrived from the South at 6.30 a.m. -esterday morning, and left for Auckland at 11.15 a.m. The delay was consequent on the mishap she met with at Napier on her previous trip north. She is expected to leave Auckland for Gisborne to-morrow and arrive here on Wednesday. The Union S.S. Co.'s Monowai arrived from Auckland at 12.30 p.m. esterday, and left again for South at 7 p.m. She experienced heavy south-easterly seas between the East Cape and Gisborne. The Union S.S. Co.’s Squall, left Auckland on Saturday for Tologa Bay, end is due here to-day. She returns to Auckland direct to-day. The Union S.S. Co.'s Kowhai leaves Oamaru for Timaru, Wellington, Napier, and Gisborne to-day. She is expected to arrive here about the end of the -week, and returns to Greymouth after discharging. TELEGRAPHIC.
