GISBORNE BOROUGH COUNCIL. SPECIAL ORDER. ELECTRIC LIGHT BY-LAW, NO. 4. IN RELATION TO ELECTRIC LIGHT AND POWER. NOTICE is hereby given, that at a Special Meeting of the Gisborne Borough Council, hela on the 25th day of July, 1911, it was resolved (by way of (Special Order) that the Council make a By-law under “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1908” and amendments thereof, the object and purport of w'hieh By-law are as follows: —Hie conditions of supply, system of supply, and general ruies to be observed in wiring for the supply of electrical energy for tire Borough of Gisborne. BY-LAW NO. 2. IN RELATION TO BUILDINGS. NOTICE is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Gisborne Brough Council, held on the 25th day of July 1911, it was resolved (by way of Special Order)' that the Council make a Bv-law under “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1908,” and amendments thereof, the object and purport of which By-law are as follows : —General provisions respecting their sites, foundations, construction, arrangement, and repair; the mode in which and the materials with which they are to be erected and repaired, for securing thenstability prevention of fire, public safety, and for purposes of health; and for regulating buildings of a public character, building districts, frontages, and open-air spaces, and the prevention of overcrowding. . The above resolutions will be submitted for confirmation to the ordinary meeting of the Council, to be held at the Council Chambers, Read’s on the 22nd day of August 1911, at / .30 p.m., at which meeting the day of the coming into force of the By-laws will be fixed. . , , Copies of the proposed Special Ordeis and Bv-laws are deposited at the office of the Council, Read’s Quay, where the same will lie open for public inspection during office hours until the said confirmation meeting is held.
