SUMMARY AND FORECAST. tPEB PRESS ASSOCIATION/! The official weather reoort is: Moderate to strong westerly winds veering to southerly have prevailed. The weather has improved everywhere to-day, but rain has fallen in most parts of the North Island and the west coast and southern districts- of the South Island. The barometer has been very unsteady though with, a decided change. The present indications are for a slowly rising barometer everywhere soon, somewhat changeable and showery weather, with moderate to- strong southerly winds preceding- fail- weather conditions. The aspect is, however, not yet settled either about the East Cape or in the southernmost districts, where a small disturbance is due to pass about Sunday.
