POVERTY BAY CHAMPIONSHIP. SECOND ROUND. Exceptional interest attaches to this afternoon’s play at the Poverty Bay Golf Club’s links, where ■ the second round of the championship tournament takes place. The following is the order of play: W. Gibson v: N. Bull. G. W. Willock v. W. H. Irvine. J. Howie v. F .H. W. Traill. G. M. Dodgshun v. L. T. Brown. LADIES’ CLUB. The fourth round for the silver and bron?- medals presented by L. G. U. was played by the Poverty Bay Ladies’ Golf Club yesterday afternoon. The play was of a high standard. Miss Bull was in particularly fine form, and established a record for the ladies’ links, with a capital round of DO. The following are the scores: — •—Silver Medal.— Miss Bull, 90—15—72. Mrs Morgan, 97—21 —76. Mrs O’Meara, 104—24 SO. Miss Nolan, 102 —16—86. Mrs 1:ft!ow, 108 —21— 87. Mis Cole, 108—19—S9. Mxss (Sweet, 107—16—91. —Bronze Medal.— Miss Bright, 102 — 25 —77.
