SUMMARY AND FORECAST. £PEE PEESS ASSOCIATION J 1 WELLINGTON, August 22. The Meteorological Office to-night issued the following weather summary and forecast:— The barometer has risen and fallen again slightly in the north, but fallen slowly in the south. Westerly bpedkes have prevailed, and very squplly at in Foveaux Strait. Fair weather has predominated. Present indications are for increasing westerly winds, with cool and chan feeble weather, showery in parts, especially on the west coast and in the southern districts. The barometer is very unsteady.
