EXPLOSION ON A STEAMER.
TEN MEN KILLED. [UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. . LONDON, Aug. 23. It is reported from Maladi, Congo Free State, that the German steamer Edea was unloading gunpowder, when an explosion occurred, which killed three whites, including one of the ship’s officers, and also ten natives.
