Great excitement prevails at Oran (Algeria), says the “Petit Parieien, owing to an alleged miracle which occurs daily in the cemetery there. A few days ago the rumor spread that the figure of an angel surmounting one of the tombstones had moved, assuming a different attitude from that designed by the sculptor. Large crowds flocked to the graveyard the next day in the hope of seeing the figure move, and since then the cemetery lias been the sene of daily pilgrimags. Most of the people who visit the cemetery come away convinced that they have seen the angel actually move.
