VESSELS IN PORT. Magic, aux. scow. The Union Co/s Hanroto arrived in the roadstead at an early hour on Saturday morning. The Tuatea made trips at 6 a.m. and 10 a.m., and the Hauroto resumed her voyage to Auckland, via Tokomaru Bay, about noon. Shortly before the s.s. Hauroto left for North on Saturday morning, word was received from Tokomaru that the launch at that port would not be available to tender the passengers, owing to her not being able to make Tokomaru from Tologa Bay in time, on account of a slight breakdown to her machinery. There were a number of passengers from the South for Tokomaru on board the Hauroto, and these could not be sent on. The s.s. Tuatea leaves at 5 o'clock this morning with these passengers for the Coast port. The Union S.S. Co.'s Monowai, which arrived at 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon, experienced head winds and heavy seas on her passage down the coast, but arrived well up to time. The steamer continued her voyage south at 7 o'clock last evening, taking a large number of passengers for this port. The Union S.S. Co.'s produce steamer Kurow is expected to load at Bluff on September 9, Oamaru on September 11, Timaru September 12, and should arrive here about September 15. The Union S.S. Co.'s Haupiri is timed to leave Napier for Gisborne to-morrow, and is expected here on Wednesday morning. The steamer will leave later for Coast ports and Auckland. TELEGRAPHIC. AUCKLAND, August 26.
