Owen Moran,* who was beaten at San Francisco by Woigast in a contest for the light-weight championship of the world, said he would back himself for £I,OOO to beat Woigast in England. During the last twenty months he has travelled 60,000 miles, fighting 22 contests and winning 19. He has made £IO,OOO in the last twelve months.
