THE ENGLISH ELEVEN.
TO VISIT AUSTRALIA.
LIST OF THE PLAYERS
There has been some little indefiniteness about the exact personnel of the English team to tour Australia this summer, but the following list- may prove to be correct: — P. F. Warner (captain) , Middlesex j F. F. Foster, Warwickshire; S. P. Kinneir, Warwickshire; J. Vine, Sussex ; H. Strudwiclc, Surrey; F. E. Woolley, Kent; J. Iremonger, Notts; W. Rhodes, Yorkshire; C. P. Mead, Hants; G Gunn, Notts; J. B. Hobbs, Surrey; E. G. Smith, Gloucester; S. 4 . Barnes, Staffordshire; W. Brearley, Lancashire; J. AY. H. T. Douglas, Essex; J. AAk Hearne, Middlesex. It is probable that only fifteen men will he sent. Some doubt exists as to Brearley or Horne. A ine lias been included, doubtless as a batsman of tlie solid type. Air. T. Pawley, Kent, is to manage the team.
