SUMMARY AND FORECAST. [FEE PEERS ASSOCIATION.) WELLINGTON, Sept. 5. The Meteorological Office to-night issued the following weather summary "and forecast:
Moderate toi strong northerly and westerly winds, veered to southerly early to-day in most parts of the country. Unsettled! and showery conditions have occurred in most parts of the country, but fair weather lias predominated. The barometer has risen in the South. Present indications are for moderate to strong south-easterly winds, ivith generally unsettled l and cloudy weather at times in the North and East Coast districts of the North Island, bur fair weather elsewhere. The barometer is unsteady in the far North, but has a. vising tendency elsewhere.
