PRODUCE SALES. Messrs F. S. Malcolm and Co. held their usual produce sale on Saturday and the following prices were realised: Pullets 2s 3d to 2s 7d, fowls 2s 3d to 2s 9d, cockerels 2s to 2s 7d, eggs lOd per dozen, butter Is and Is 2d per lb, kumeras per lb, oranges 3s to 5s per case, cauliflower 4s to 6s per dozen, cabbages 6s 6d per sack, onions per lb, table potatoes 10s 9d per sack, Southern date seed 8s 6d per cwt. A very successful sale of unredeemed pledges was also held. Messrs Miller and Craig report on their auction sale of produce on Saturday as follows: —Drakes Is Bd, roosters Is 6d to 2s 4d, turkey gobblers 8s 6d, fowls Is 9d, butter Is 2d per lb, eggs lOd per dozen, potatoes 8s 6d and 10s 6d per sack, cauliflowers 4s'6d per dozen, and cabbages 3s and 3s 6d ner dozen. HOME MEAT MARKET. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile are in receipt of the following cable from their London house:— “Market firm for mutton; steady for lamb; has improved for beef.” CUSTOMS RETURNS. The local customhouse collected 1 the following revenue- last week : —Customs duties £1641 18s 6d beer duty £lls 18s, light dues- £lO 2s 2d, shipipng fees 19s 6d; total £1768 18s 2d.
