A .SCAFFOLDING COLLAPSES. LPEE PBESS ASSOCIATION.] WANGANUI, Sept. 11. A serious accident occurred this afternoon on the neAV Convent buildings uoav in course of erection on St. John’s hill. Five men Avere ' working on a scaffolding at a considerable height above the ground, when the structure collapsed. The men were precipitated to the earth, and all were more or less injured. One of them —Robert Rawston—•had Bis leg broken.
