CONFERENCE IN WELLINGTON. (PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.T WELLINGTON, Sept. 13. At the Navv League Conference it was decided that a supplement to the Navy be published by the League, and a sub -committee set up to draft a scheme for consideration. Other real ut ions were that picture show pro- . rie-tors be asked to hold special navy league niglits; thot one wreath, representative of all New Zealand branches, be procured for the Nelcon. Column on Trafalgar Day; that there should be incorporated in the schools’ journal further information regarding noval history ; that the question of the adequacy of New Zealand’s conribution; to tiie British navy be referred to the branches' and discussed by the next Conference; that it is advisable to register stokers living in New Zealand who are serving or who have served m the mercantile marine, and who would be willin'-' to serve the navy in case of need • that it is desirable that questions on the objects of the League be brought before all candidates for Parliament at the forthcoming elections; and that a committee, consisting of Messrs. Francis, Arber, and Chambers, be set up to draft such questions, which each branch o‘f the League in New Zealand will bring forward at candidates’ political meetings. The Conference resumes to-day. • -
