LEADS TO DIVORCE SUIT

At Stockton, N.Y., Attorney Milton A. Nathan gave notice that his client, Joseph Barger. would file counter charges in his wife’s divorce suit,. Mrs Berger alleges that her husband failed to take a bath often; that he had raised a cheque she had written from SOdol to SOOdol.; that lie had been convicted of receiving stolen goods; that he remained out late of nights; that he cursed and abused her, and had also refused her the necessaries of life. A lively time is anticipated when the case is tried. The couple were married m San Francisco in 1905, but have been living in Stockton fdr some time. In filing the notice of a contest the defendant hopes to have several of the allegations stricken out and the complaint so modified that he will not- suffer.
