The question, of the fees payable at the Gisborne Public Hospital is one that has for some time occupied no little amount of attention! by the local body interested. Recently Dr, Collins ttineiiiiced liis intention of endeavoring to have the fees reduced to £1 per week in oases where they were guaranteedl by the patients or their friends 1 .
