THE PLUNKET MEDAL, WELLINGTON, Sept. 17. The annual competition for the Plunket. Medal in connection with Victoria College Debating Society was held last night. There were eight competitors and: the medal was won by P. G. HallJones, son of Sir Wm\ Hall-’Jones, the High Commissioner. Sir Joseph Ward, tlie Prime Minister, made the presentation of the medal to the winner.
