The American Tennis Association lias cabled agreeing to play, the final for the Davis Cup in Christchurch, but they are unable to accept the proposed dates of December 29 and 30 and January 1, having to return on December 22. The Australian Association is arranging to submit earlier dates. THE TURF. TOORAK HANDICAP WEIGHTS. (Received Sept. 19. 12.55 a.m.] MELBOURNE, Sept, 18. Malt King, with 9st 121 b, heads the weights for the Toorak Handicap. Broadsword has 9st 71b, Full Sail Bst lib, Sandbath 7st 131 b, Gold Thread 7st 111 b, Chaste 7st 51b, Tanekaha 7st lib, and Martyve 6st 91b.
