After waiting fifty years, the town of Mount Washington, in the southern part-of the Berkshire hills, has had a chance to witness a wedding. Kev. Milton Whittier, pastor of the. Congregational church at Brookfield'-Centie Conn., and Miss Laura Reid Schutt of Mount Washington were married, it was the first wedding in the town in a half century. There are thirteen votcts in tlio town of IVTonnt "Wcisningtoxx ; and thej; all attended the wedding, with their families.
