GISBORNE BOROUGH COUNCIL. SPECIAL ORDER. AUHORISING THERAISING OF AN ADDITIONAL LOAN OF £6050, BEING 10 PER CENT. ON SEWERAGE LOAN OF £60,500. NOTICE is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the' Gisborne Borough Council, held on the 19th day of September, the following resolution j was passed:— “That, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that 'behalf by “The Municipal. Corporations Act, 1908,” “The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1908,” and any other Act enabling it in that behalf, the Gisborne Borough Couimcil hereby in accord with Section No. 23 of the above mentioned Act, resolves as follows: —That as the present Sewerage Loan of £60,500 is insufficient to complete the works, the Gisborne Borough Council hereby decides to raise a supplementary loam of 10 per cent, on the said Sewerage Loan of £60,500, viz : £6050.” And notice is hereby also given, that the said resolution will be submitted to an Ordinary Meeting of the said Council to be held at the Borough Council Chambers, situated in Read’s Quay, Gisborne on the 17th day of October, 1911. for Confirmation as a Special Order. 'OTICE is hereby given that at a , Special Meeting of the Gisborne Borough Council, held on the fifth, day day of September, 1911, the following resolution was passed: “That, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1908,” “The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1908,” “The Hospitals and Charitable Institutions Act, 1909,” and any other Act enabling it in that behalf, the Gisborne Borough Council hereby resolves as follows: That, in order to meet the Capital Expenditure requisitioned by the Cook Hospital and Charitable Aid Board for building a new hospital (in instalments £1960 at the present time, £1960 in 12 months’ lienee, and £ISBO two years hence) the Gisborne Borough Council hereby decides to raise a special lean of £5500 from the Government, under the provisions of “The Local Bodies Loan Act, 1908,” for a term of thirtysix years and a half, at the rate of interest of 3) per cent per annum, the first year’s interest to be paid out of loan.” And notice is hereby also given, that the said resolution will be submitted to an Ordinary Meeting of the said Council, to be field at the Borough Council Chambers, situated in Read’s Quay.
