WHOM SHALL IT BE? A SPLIT AT WAIPAWA. £PEB PEESS ASSOCIATION] WAIPAWA, Sept. 21. A caucus of the Liberal party, held yesterday, to select a candidate for the Waipawa seat, was attended by seventy persons. The Hon. T. Mackenzie and jv*\- A E. -Hi I ]' were suggested. After three hours’ discussion no decision had been ar -rived at, and the (meeting adjourned for seven days. The northern end is solid for Mr dull, and the southern favors Mr Mackenzie.
