The “Otago Daily Times,” reverting to Messrs. Adams Bros.’ hill of costs on the Licensing Bill, says:—“We are not exactly in a position to say what barristers’* earnings in New Zealand are, hut if they are at the. rate of £369 6s 9d for six weeks,- or £3200 per annum, then we congratulate the leading members of the profession upon the lucrative nature of their calling.”
