The Union Co.’s Hauroto arrived from Napier and southern ports on Saturday at 1 p.m. She was tendered on arrival and at 3 p.m., and left shortly after for Auckland, via Tokomaru Bay. She returns south on Wednesday, and on reaching Dunedin she is to lay up, and her run will be taken by the Tarawera. The Union Co.’s Monowai w*ts delayed at Auckland on Saturday until 4.30 p.m., but made a very fair passage, and passed East Cape at 9.30 a.m. yesterday. She called at Tokomaru Bay, but the launch did not come out, and resuming her passage the Monowai arrived in the roadstead at 4.30 p.m., and w T as tendered with some difficulty by one launch at 5 p.m., and left for south later in the evening. The Union Co.’s Squall, which left Auckland on Thursday, and experienced heavy weather, arrived in the bay at 8.30 p.m. on Saturday, but the heavy range at the entrance prevented her from entering the river. She accordingly went to shelter under Young Nick’s Head. Yesterday morning she came over towards the entrance, but was again unable to enter owing to the heavy range. It is, hoivever, expected that the Squall will come up to the wharf this morning, and will sail for Auckland this afternoon. The Westport Coal Co.’s Regulus is due to reach this port from Westport at an early hour this morning with a full cargo of coal for the local depot. Messrs. Richardson and Co.’s Fanny arrived from Napier on Saturday morning with a cargo of posts and houseblocks. She returned to Napier, via the coast, on discharging. The Union Co.’s Haupiri arrived in Auckland at 4:45 p.m. yesterday, having overcarried a considerable portion of her cargo for coast ports, -with which she was unable to connect on account of the bad weather being experienced. The ketch Coronation took her departure for Whitianga, where she will load timber for Gisborne on Saturday. Messrs. Richardson and Co.’s Ripple arrived from Wellington and Napier on Saturday,' and sailed again for southern ports on discharging her general cargo. TELEGRAPHIC.
