NEW ORGAN FOR WAIROA.
A PLEASING RECITAL
The organ recital at St. Andrew’s Church last Tuesday night attracted a large audience, who thoroughly appreciated the programme presented. Mr. Lyndon played several excerpts from the great masters with great taste, and the flutes solos by Mr. Don were especially enjoyable. Pleasing vocal items were given by Miss M. Parker, Mesdames Brown, Macdonald, Messrs. McRae, and H. Gallagher. The choir also contributed an anthem most creditably. The new organ has quite realised all expectations, and opinions expressed confirm the management in procuring for their church an instrument worthy of the service for which it is required to do duty. The Positive Organ Co. and their agents here (Chrisp and Sons) have every reason to be gratified that they are able to produce such a satisfactory instrument quite up to the specifications at a comparatively small cost. •
