ENVELOPED IN FLAME IN MIDAIR. A MIRACULOUS ESCAPE. [UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT.] . LONDON, Sept. 26. While convoying the aerial mail to Windsor a valve of Mr Hamel’s: engine broke when he was at a height of 1500 ft. Flames issued from the carburetter, and flew round the aviator. Fortunately there was no leakage of petrol, and the aviator safely landed.
