WELLINGTON, Sept. 28. _ The Meteorological Office to-night issued the following weather summary and forecast : The barometer has fallen everywhere, and the centre of a ; depression shows this evening off Kaikounai. Westerly winds have prevailed and increased generally, and the weather has been very changeable in most parts of the country, and stoniiiy about Foveaux Strait. Present indications are for strong northerly and westerly winds northward of New Plymouth and Napier, and high westerly and southerly winds elsewhere. Rain isi probable gonera-lly, and snow on the highlands' of the South. The barometer is very unsteady, probably rising in the South, but falling in the North.; i
