Westerly winds have prevailed and increased generally, and the weather has been very changeable in most parts of the country, and stoniiiy about Foveaux Strait. Present indications are for strong northerly and westerly winds northward of New Plymouth and Napier, and high westerly and southerly winds elsewhere.
