(United Press Association—Copyright.) (Received 1 October 6, 9.50 p.m.) MELBOURNE, Oct. 6. The Commission to inquire into the sugar industry lias been appointed. It consists of Judge Gordon (South Australia) chairman; Mr Henchcliffe, secretarv of the Australian Labor Federation; Mr M. Anderson (Sydney), representing the shipping interests, Mr Shannon, representing cane growers, and Mr Crawford, president of the Sugar Producers’ Association. Inquiries will be made into all phases and questions affecting the industry.
