VISIT OF THE ORCANISER. MR. R, R. MARTIN IN GISBORNE. Mr. R. R. Martin, the organiser for the Reform Party, spent, a few hours in Gisborne on his way to Auckland on Saturday morning. A meeting of supporters of the Partv was held, which Mr. Martin attended, and it is expected that an Opposition candidate will shortly be selected to contest the Gisborne seat. f. n conversation with a Gisborne “limes” reporter, Mr. Martin said that the prospects of the Opposition candidates at the coming elections were very bright indeed. There were fifteen more Opposition candidates offering than was the case' at last election.
