The Union Co/s Tarawera arrived from Napier and southern ports on Saturday morning, and proceeded to Auckland, via Tokomaru Bay, after being tendered at the usual hours. A Press telegram from Auckland states that the Tarawera arrived there at 12.50 p.m. yesterday. ; j The Union Co/s Monowai, which left v Auckland shortly after 1 p.m. on Saturday, passed East Cape at 7 a.m. yesterday, and called at Tokomaru Bay, arriv4tv» here at 2 p.m. She was tendered at that hour and at 5 p.m., and left for Napier at 7 p.m. . , , The Union Co/s Squall arrived from Auckland on Saturday, having called at Tologa Bay. She brought the following cargo:—4Bo bags and 16 sacks sugar, 11 casks invert, 46 cases empty bottles, 60 50’s flour, 10 100’s flour, 100 sacks flour, 120 bags cement, 200 bags lime. 1000 firebricks, 125 sacks coal. 115 sacks coke, and 7 bales wool; also transhipments ex Kia Ora (London), Kent (West Coast of England ports), and large quantity of sundries and general merchandise. She left for Limestone Island in the evening, and is due at Auckland to-day, probably leaving that port for Tologa Bay and Gisborne to-morrow. The Union Co/s cargo steamer Kowhai left Lyttelton at 6 p.m. on Saturday for Napier and Gisborne. She is due at Napier this morning, and will probably arrive here to-morrow. After discharging she loads 100 head of cattle, and procees to Greymouth. The Union Co/s Haupiri, which was to have left Wellington on Saturday, failed to get away, and is now timed to leave to-day for Picton, Napier, and Gisborne. She proceeds, to Auckland, via East Coast jjorts, on discharging. The ketch Coronation is .expected to sail for Whitianga early, to load timber for Gisborne. TELEGRAPHIC. SYDNEY, Oct. 7.
