FIGHTING IN PERSIA.
REBEL LEADER FLEES FOR EUROPE. A PROMISE OF RETURN. (United Press Association—Copyright.) TEHERAN, Oct. 9. The Government forces occupied Hatmadan. Twelve hours afterwards Salar-cd Dowleh disbanded his troops and left for Europe, via Bagdad, declaring that lie would return in the spring with better military equipment. [Salar-ed Dowleh is a, brother cf the deposed Shah, for whose capture the Persian Government offered a reward of £5000.] (Received Oct. 11, 115 a.m.) TEHERAN, Oct, 10. The Russian Consulate officials, with twelve Cossacks, threatened to fire on the gendarmes who were sent at General Shuster’s instance, to seize Shua-ed Suita-neh’s property. The gendarmes withdrew.
