ROWING.
GISBORNE CLUB. A meeting of the Alanagement Committee of the Gisborne Rowing Club was held last evening in the Club House there being a full attendance of members. General business was discussed, and the crews to represent the Club on opening day were selected as follow: Seniors.—Hamilton, Tocker, Rich, ards, AlcConville. Juniors.—Coleman, Winter, Pycroft, Quigley. Youths.—Aliller, Pollock, Bright Oman. Civil Service.—Williams, Cowan, Port. Rutherford. Combined Mercantile.—H. AI. Puflett, Daniels, Bushy, Alley. Married—Hansen, G. Puflett, Somerville, Gumming. Single.—Cowan, N. deLautour, -Scott, Jeffries. Double Sculls.—Somerville and ker.Crew to row Veterans.—Hansen, Coleman, Py-croft and Fraser. The following new members were elected: Donovan and S. Parker. Strokes were appointed to coach the new members, and a list ef same can be seen at the Club House. Alessrs locker and Quigley were appointed a visiting committee for the week. After to-day the plant will be in working order, and members are invited to take the opportunity of practice before the first trial fours commence.
