PREFERENCE TO UNIONISTS.
N.S.W. LABOR MEMBERS DISAPPROVE. (United Press Association—Copyright.) SYDNEY, Oct. 17. Messrs Carr and Hollis, Federal and State Labor members at Bathurst, have practically declared against preference to unionists. Mr Carr said that the Government could not compel it, even by an Act of Parliament. Mr Hollis said no union had alright to seek preference unless the members constituted a majority of those employed.
