MISSING FROM CANADIAN COINS

The words “Dei Gratia” (by the Grace of God) disappeared from the Canadian coins owing to a mistake at the British Mint. The mistake was not noticed until a large number of coins had been issued. The arrest of Charles Warren, a car conductor at AVinnipeg, exposed a gigantic plot to swindle the tram company by means of bogus tickets printed in London, ostensibly for the purpose of toy excursion railways. Scotland Yard detectives unearthed the swindle. The company lias not yet ascertained its losses. NOT WANTED. OTTAWA, Oct. 22. An order has been issued that the United States flags will have to be removed from the moving picture films in all theatres in Ontario.
