THE PEOPLE’S DAY.
SHOW COMPETITIONS. "People’s Day” will be hd’.d to-day, and a really interesting programme of events will be presented. All classes of stock w.ilil be judged, as well as sheep, dogs l , poultry, and all the draught horses, also those in the undermentioned harness, hack, blood and competition Ciasies: —There, will be three rings going prior to the double-ring events, as follows:—No. 1 ring: Saddle entires, thoroughbred entires, 15st- hacks, 13st hacks, weight-carriers 14 to 15 hands, troop horses. No. 2 ring: Light spring carters, heavy spring carters, 1-horse lorries, 2-horse lorries, carriers,’ turnouts, tradesmen’s turn-outs, harness entires,' single harness 15.1 to 16 hands, ponies, driven/ by l ladies. No. 3 ring: Yearling colts, yearling fifties or geldings, 2-year-old geldings*, 2-year-old filly, 3-year-old geldings, 3-year-old filly, brood mares, dry mares, 2-horse teams, 4-horse teams, geldings 4yrs and over, entires. Double ring: Lady riders, girl riders under 13 years, lady s hack, high jumping, champion haick, ladies’ jumping, grand parade and open jumping.
