WOMEN SHOT AND INCINER ATED

A tragedy occurred at Olen Morn, near Tamworth. Lawrence Lawless, a farm laborer, shot his 'mi-tress, Mrs Cover, and her daughter. The latter died almost immediately, and the mother is in a critical condition. Cover’s house was burned down, and the body of •the daughter incinerated. Lawless afterwards sirot- himself in the chest, but it is not thought that the wound is dangerous. ' He has been arrested.
